The Role

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waiter / Server to be a key ambassador of our hospitality. You will be responsible for ensuring every guest receives attentive, courteous, and high-quality service from the moment they arrive. Your ability to create a warm and welcoming environment is essential to delivering the memorable experience The RF Gardens is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Experience

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
• Present menus and answer questions regarding food items and daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely and correct delivery of all food and beverages.
• Handle any guest concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, aiming for immediate resolution.

2. Operational Excellence

• Follow all table setup, clearing, and resetting protocols to maintain a pristine dining environment.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness of tables, chairs, and all work areas.
• Strictly adhere to all personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.

3. Sales Support

• Intelligently recommend daily specials and up-sell add-on items like drinks, sides, and desserts.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Support takeout and delivery order processes as needed.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation styles.

4. Team Contribution

• Communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Proactively assist other servers and team members during peak service hours.
• Attend daily shift briefings and training sessions to stay informed and improve skills.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have 1-2 years of proven experience as a Waiter or Server in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or events venue.
• You possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure with grace.
• You have a professional, friendly, and guest-first attitude.
• You are a reliable team player, flexible to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• A competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 75,000 to NGN 120,000.
