Restaurant Server / Cashier

Jibs-Ray Nigeria Ltd is seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join the front-of-house team at our busy restaurant located in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos. We are hiring professional Waiters, Waitresses, and Cashiers who are passionate about providing excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

The Role

As a member of our service team, you will be a key player in the guest dining experience. You will be responsible for everything from providing a warm welcome and taking accurate orders to ensuring a smooth and pleasant payment process. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills, attentiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort customers to their tables, presenting the menu and highlighting daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS ordering software.
• Communicate order details effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drink orders promptly, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing any requests or issues with professionalism.
• Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy and organized dining area.
• Deliver checks, process bill payments accurately, and handle cash and card transactions.
• Adhere to all relevant health and food safety regulations.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have a minimum of 1 year of proven work experience as a Waiter, Waitress, or Cashier in a restaurant setting.
• You have hands-on experience with a cash register and POS ordering systems.
• You are attentive, patient, and have a natural ability for customer service.
• You are a strong multitasker who can perform well under the pressure of a busy service.
• You are a team player with effective communication skills.
• You have the flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Please note: This position is based in Victoria Island, and there is no accommodation provided. Candidates must be able to commute reliably.

The Offer:

• • A fixed monthly salary of NGN 70,000.

Qualifications
