Skilled Bartender

Treetop Consulting Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client, a vibrant hospitality establishment located on CMD Road, Ikeja, for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender. We are looking for a professional with a passion for crafting great drinks and delivering excellent customer service to become the heart of our client’s bar.

The Role

As the Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. You will manage the bar operations, from mixing classic and innovative cocktails to maintaining inventory and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Your skill, personality, and professionalism will be key to creating a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take drink and food orders in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Expertly mix, garnish, and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain a pristine and organized bar area, including all equipment and glassware.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system, managing tabs and balancing the register.
• Engage with customers to build rapport, make recommendations, and create a positive bar atmosphere.
• Monitor bar inventory and supplies, notifying management of restocking needs.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Perform bar opening and closing duties as required.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You have 1-2 years of proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
• You possess excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• You are a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure.
• You have basic math skills and are comfortable with POS systems.
• Preferred: A bartending certification, formal mixology training, and knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and craft beers.
