The Role: A Guide to an Exceptional Experience

We are seeking an experienced Waiter / Waitress with a strong foundation in wine knowledge to join our team. In this role, you will be more than a server; you will be a guide, helping our guests navigate our culinary offerings and wine list. Your primary mission is to enhance the dining experience through expert recommendations, polished service, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Wine Service: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and food pairings. Confidently present, open, and serve wine according to proper etiquette, making tailored recommendations to guests.
  • Elevated Guest Service: Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, present menus, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure guests feel well taken care of throughout their visit, checking on them regularly and handling any concerns with calm and prompt professionalism.
  • Operational Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared section at all times. Uphold all service standards and contribute to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
  • Sales & Transactions: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using our POS system.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest service role, preferably in an upscale restaurant, lounge, tasting room, or fine dining establishment.
  • You possess strong, demonstrable wine knowledge and are passionate about engaging guests in conversations about wine selections.
  • You are a polished professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You maintain composure and attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have the flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What We Offer:

  • Monthly Salary: A competitive range of NGN 75,000 – NGN 150,000.
